If u use grief, is it better to get jools that add dmg like min or max or ed jools like 40ed?

MIN/MAX wont do anything for you compared to ED.

Hmm ok thanks! For some reason I thought Ed only went off weapon base not the +350-400 grief dmg

Depend on skill.
Barb usually wants ed jewels, pala can use max/min (especially for charge)
