Hey i'm planning to build a zealer with an Eth Stormlash as main weapon.
I'm asking myself about what could suit with this kind of zealer... Here a first shot of what i was going to build :

- Eth Stormlash zoded
- Eth Vortex Exile or Phoenix Zaka dmg base ? Here is the main point of discussion...
- Fortitude for the dmg
- Guillaume with 15/40 jewel
- Steelrend if I plain to build Exile or Dracul for the life tap if I go phoenix
- Gorerider
- Nosferatu or Verdungo
- Ravenfrost
- Rare double Leach ring or BK5
- Highlord or Atma's ?

Merc A2 with Pride, Eth Fortitude, Eth Andy...

you need only 10ias off-weapon for max attack speed. so i suggest taking that from HL bc it offers lr/ds/skill as well. switch 40/15 in helm for something else (cham for cbf if you dont want raven, ber for dr, 40/9 for dmg, ...)
nos belt is not necessary, so you could go for string (dr) or arach (fcr, only if you chose enigma for tele)
shield zaka or phoenix, st or sr. vortex does not help. dracul gloves then for tap. some ml or maek from gear, rings are preference choice

Why do you think Phœnix is better than Exile ? I read that the animation of firestorm is bugged with zeal, is that true ?

Moreover could you list the full gear's build please, like i've done in my initial post
It would be easier for me to compare and see what I need to buy ahah

Phoenix Animation used to be bugged (firestorm interrupted zeal series). It was fixed with some d2r patch though

I‘ll give the setup a try:

Weapon: eth stormlash
Shield: eth phoenix st or zaka (both fine)
Armour: I would also consider eni because str also boosts the dmg of zealer. Furthermore i love running reaper‘s merc and you want tele for that, so you proc decrep fast enough. Ofc forti works if you prefer the playstyle
Helm: Gulli (40ed 9str jewel, same for zaka if you choose that)
Gloves: Steelrend or loh. Loh is actually great for chaos sanctuary and other places with lots of demons. Also 50% safer when you get a conviction infector at cs.
Boots: Gorerider
Belt: string of ears, nice dmg red and mdr + ll
Rings: Raven + ml or dual leech, good adds: ar, min dmg, str, dex, res if needed
Amu: highlords, also for ds and conv souls

Merc:
Eth death reapers
Might consider treachery for faster breakpoint to proc decrep. Did not check the bps though
Eth andys (maybe ias jewel, depending on ias bp

phoenix should be non-eth
i'd go with ed/dex jewels instead of ed/str
highest priority on second ring should be ar/ml or maek imo

but everything else looks a solid starting point

What would be your reason for dex over str?
I feel like dex? Is it ar over dmg?

Pretty sure ml > maek for zealot though
