This is for anyone who has ever worked on any rendering of Diablo II. There are these visual bugs i found in vanilla Diablo II and LoD that always plagued the game and i wonder what causes them.

There's also this unintended texture transparency that's only found since LoD Expansion. In Classic D2 that texture looks fine as it should.

DirectDraw always worked well for me. But the other two has these visual bugs. Can they be fixed? Either by patching the game with a custom glide wrapper or whatever ways.

Do these bugs happen with an actual Voodoo3 card when in 3DFX?

Can all of this be fixed? If anyone could do it for the sake of everyone i'd be grateful.

In Half Life at the beginning of 'Surface Tension' you are on a dam. The door after the dam should lead you to Lambda Complex as it is clearly visible after/during 'Forget about Freeman' right before the elevator to the Lambda Complex.
Gearbox (or whatever they are called) changed that theme in 'Opposing Force' where they made the other side of the door a hangar...

It's not on Resurrected though. It's in the original CD game of Diablo 2.

I am sure there's millions of posts throu out the interwebs that cover your problem in some way. There are also diablo mods that have forum pages. Perhaps your pc is to high tech for diablo2.

PC's using a GTX 660 from 2012. The visual bugs i shown you happens to everyone who installs the CD version of Diablo 2 and uses any renderer other than DirectDraw. You can try that out yourself. Either way... where can i find these forum pages you're talking about? This is the 1st Diablo forum i registered.

i've heard of numerous visual bugs mentioned over the 50+ of interviews i've watched from brevik over the years. take a sunday off and sift through all of them there are a lot he talks about

some with tileset issues in dungeons were cool to listen to, can't remember the specifics
