Which would give her more life? jah or pruby? For my bow merc helm

what is her base health with the clean helmet (i.e. unsocketed, without both of them) and what is your total BO level (including BC and the +all skill level on gear)?
need these information to calculate...

Let L be the base life of your merc and B your total BO level.
total life with Jah: L*(1+0.32+0.03*B+0.05)
total life with P ruby: (L+38)*(1+0.32+0.03*B)

since you dont posted the numbers, you have to do the calculation yourself. just plug in L and B and check for the better result

Jah + pruby would cost 1-2 fg so if you don’t feel like doing the math just check it for yourself

Why make it so advanced? Jah is 5% life right? So if merc has more than 760 hit points (38 x 2 x 10) before putting the helmet on, unless that gives life adequate to pushing it over 760, it is worthwhile to use that over a perfect ruby which gives 38 life.
