the max damage of some rare eth zerks can be higher then grief but to kill players what makes grief deadly is not just its high max damage but insane min damage. physical damage based pk builds to be effective need the highest min damage possible. if you have a eth ebotd war pike the damage is going to be very high but very random and its slow. with a grief zerk you can hit at the very highest hitcheck/frames while doing insanely high min damage and it does have an eth rune yes its pvp reduced i get it but anything helps at reducing defense. ignore target defense sadly does not work pvp but -% does work just greatly reduced i think its like 1/5% but the mods on grief are purpose built for melee builds to kill players.

highest average damage, highest min damage, easy to make just takes a mess of Lo runes.
