People pool sojs together to do walks and split the annis.

Many hrs come from chests and helpers auto open chests. Temples/tombs are great for helpers looking for hrs.

There are website owners who have thousands of helpers to fill their stores.

THOUSANDS? that's insane. how is that even profitable? you'd have to buy the game for each and then there is electricity price? whatever not my problem, that's just ridiculous

yes you have to buy cd keys, but bnet had a glitch for certain regions for awhile where cd keys were $1 each. No electricity issues, but proxies are expensive. People pay a lot of money to have perfect runewords, hybrids, prepatch items, etc, so it was still highly profitable once you have the infrastructure set up and just have it hit a start button every ladder reset.
