I had Diablo 2 and lod expansion on my old laptop but it recently died. I still have the emails for both the Diablo 2 and the lod cd key from when I purchased the digital copies from blizzard site. I should be ok to just re download client and use same keys then if I get a new computer right?

yes you can use same keys on a different computer, just can only access 1 cd key at a given time from any location

interesting. i did install with the download client in 2021 (dont think they changed stuff since then, it is blizzard after all) and it worked after i converted my CD key to the new format

i also had some errors pop up while downloading via the blizzard downloader but after skipping them (cant remember if i clicked ok or cancel) the downloading continued
