Alright so, I thought Larzuk gave 50/50 1os/2os on magic helmets
how come I NEVER get 2os??
is it really only bad luck?
or is it depended on something like itemlevel? is that something one can check upfront ?
Does it depend on which difficulty you use Larzuk or whatever?

If the item is limited to one sock (ilvl dependent) then its impossible to get 2 sox.
And no, without 3rd party programs you can't see ilvl. If you remember where it dropped you can determine if 2 sox are possible.

Are you asking about helmets exclusively?
Because with helmets you always have the chance for 2 sox as this is their lowest possible max sockets regardless of ilvl.
Exception are circlets and their upgrades which have max 1 sox with ilvl below 26.
But you can't find Coronets, Tiaras and Diadems with lower ilvl then 26 and factoring in their qlvl it shouldn't be possible for Circlets either but I would have to look that up.

Probably unlucky, I tried to socket 6 magic war axes and six circlets recently and I ended up with 1s circlet and 2 axes… I think my socket average is 1 in 5 over the last few seasons…horrible luck.
