Anybody else think its weird how people spend absurd amounts of fg on rings with just fcr/str/life?

I've seen people spent like 5000+ for rings with like 25str and like 40-50 life.

Personally, I think these rings suck, I would never use them even if I had one.
I can think of so many other mods that can trump these type of rings.

Any ring with 3 good mods (3 points) is not worth more than tens of fg.

5000 fg worth of crafts almost guarantees you 25 strength and 10% fcr.

if your caster hits resists with the rest of the gear/inventory, then you only need fcr/life/str/mana on your rings. So craft rings with 10fcr/21-25str/41-60life might be the best option

Please enlighten us with better rings.
Builds have been around for 20 years and they all mainly use the same specifications on which items to use.
10 fcr/25str/50+ life is godly on its own for things like a Druid or Necro.
You have to also realize....
25 str is not 1 suffix, it's 2.
50+ life is not 1 suffix, it's 2.
6 mod ring would be

10fcr
25str
50+life
single res or @res

Sounds like a lot of blind sheep.
2 full points spent on 5 str and 10-20life.
On any other ring, these wouldn’t even be considered a full point.
But on these rings, it’s godly lol.
Id rather have mana, dex, life replenish, hell even psn reduction

Okay and what is your logic behind your reasoning?
You're still adding those stats onto one single slot.
Which allows for better options in other slots.
For instance an amulet for a Druid, could not need strength so he could use 2 druid/18+fcr/60life/20@res instead of needing a str one.

The point system is only for rare rings anyways.

These rings have their advantages but only for certain classes, if you don't understand that then I am talking to a wall.

My point in tldr: 5 str and 10-20 life is a wasted point, its better to have those points elsewhere.
