Are runes changing something about drops rates ?

Like for example, if you have 1/10000 chance of dropping "Shako" (instead of 9999 others items) (D2 Classic)
Do we have 0.05%chance of dropping that same "Shako" because there is "runes and more items" on LOD ? (So for example 1/20000) ?
Or are drop rates the same for uniques items in both modes ?

I mean, there is more items in LOD, so is it better to me to farm in Classic instead of LOD if I prefer to find items instead of runes ?

Classic has no runes, jewels, elite items of any sort, no exceptional uniques/sets, no class specific items

you have a much lower kill speed and less mf for lower quality drops
