I know that there are some threads talking about the subject, but since I still have doubts, I want to ask.

I currently use a1 cold merc with faith, forty and flickering flame to counter sunder, but I see a lot of people recommend the a5 merc with plague + lawbringer or two lawbringer + treachery + giant skull with lots of dr.

I currently use coa and flickering flame on merc, so my question is, do I continue with the current merc or would the a2 merc be better even if I have to put on the flickering flame and do without the coa with 2x 5/5 jewels?

-res on merc does not apply to your character. Its basically worthless.

Lawbringer value is really only for physical build since decrep lowers defense... unless you need sanc.

Plauge is nice for ele builds since the LR proc....but its a proc....infin is better imo since its constant. The cleasning from plague is nice but not really needed....

Never played a dragondin but that sounds like an auradin.... obv if you are already using conv on character than the Lr will be useful.


Faith merc seems garbage for auradin.....you don't need ias?

you need a lot of ias since the auras benefit your attack damage, the plain aura damage itself (aoe) is pretty low otherwise
