the reality is, the game is so old that pvp will always be shit on OCE servers as the player base for pvp is smaller than my dogs dick, especially when the mechanics are easily learnt and the overall pvp system is boring when you play constantly.

Now when you have massive games like LoL that continue to dominate internationally and locally d2r will NEVER have active worthwhile pvp on oce servers d2. The best hope for OCE players for diablo is the release of d4 to acquire player base but lets be honest, d2pvp is low skill cap mechanics and i highly doubt theyll make d4 any higher so players will always return to games like league that have a higher player base/cap/competitive progression

reality would quickly confirm to you the truth, practise a couple weeks and enter a high level tournament with om well known duelers to be promptly educated.

Calling d2 alive and d2r dead is both very far from the truth. D2 in closed bnet is mainly played by bots and maybe 1-2k players worldwide.

well if you enjoy farming the same areas on repeat forever then there is something wrong with you imo
not many people want to play a game that is literally pure grind for nothing
and thats why D2R is dead (or dying fast)

D2 LoD is dead because the player base slowly disappeared over time
but it is still a legendary masterpiece that kept many people entertained for years

D2R is far from legendary, its just a waste of time & money
i understand that some nerds love PvM good for them but i speak for the majority of Diablo fans when i say that D2R is a huge disappointment
mainly because pvp is broken along with chat and a bunch of other bs

Come on now, let's be honest, pvp is a small community inside the total d2 community and most definitely not the 'majority'. The biggest disappointment was the launch without a ladder system with the promise of a ladder system which still hasn't been launched. Most of the community would of preferred the launch to be delayed a couple months with the bugs sorted and a ladder system or at least a ladder system which wasn't 5 months post-launch and counting.

Edit: If we are going to say who the "Majority" of d2 players are, they would fall under the category of ladder rushes/fg peddlers, people who play ladder resets to make fg play for a little bit then a small portion of those might pvp/lld or speed run casual as fuck and then wait for the next ladder reset

Only complaint i really have is the load screen times when using wps. I cant play hc because if i tele to, for example, frigid, im getting hit before i can see whats going on. I dont really pvp in this game. Its literally my relax and click game
