yes, 19 years old after the game been out, and there are still ppls playin this game, everyday, on the three realms.

If u want to me to admit that bots are one of the reason why many ppls quitted the game then yes its right, but its also right that many ppls quitted because they just grown and found smthing better to do than playing d2, and tbh the toxic community is a big reason for ppls to quit over time.

There was botters, there are bots atm and we will see more bots in the future in d2. What's the problem really ? Its just the same game as the one you played when you had only 16, including bots, and you loved it, and you used botted items and dupes. Many ppls quit cuz ppls quit things with time. The amazing thing is the amount of semi active and active d2 pvper 20 years after. I dont care at all who bots or not nowadays, i often make small pvm chars and i enjoy the game a lot, i only use what i find on floor. Then im bored and back to pvp. I dont see how bots are a problem for me in d2 atm

D2 used to be the main gamer culture, then WoW came, and then games like league and now fort night

D2 died naturally and it was a great game for it's time, most anyone that plays it now wants to try to re create the old times. Botters do it by finding godly items efficiently.

People like me just play pvm for the game itself

I will admit that ladder culture died after season 2 because of bots which is a shame, grinding levels manually was fun, but now there isnt enough player population to support manual CS runs, so even though botting contributed to the eventual downfall, at this point it is a non issue.

if anyone remembers old public cs bot runs called boChantCS, which were designed for manual players to follow, i may try re-hosting that or something similar soon.
those, an auto rusher, and a pub chanter could encourage a lot of legit gameplay. maybe even get some old quitters to make a char or two to fart around on.
yes bots are lame i agree but the right bots can be beneficial to players
+more players, more items found/bought/sold/traded on jsp

/e basically this:

I see no profit with bots in europe sc cl ladder for example.
They all running priv cs runs.
We dont see em on chan and they dont invite ppl to join em.
And most of em dont even sell the good items u talking about (except one, who dont even admit he's botting^^).

Just one boter started running a pub cs this month, but this is too late. Top 50 is full of bots and nearly all pvmers stopped 2 months ago cuz of that.

Im a pvmer, and for me and for all the pvmers i know, we pvming 50% cuz of fun (yes we get fun at clearing cs 200 times each day while telling absolute shits^^) and 50% for the ladder ranking. We like the race to become #7 when we are #8 and all those shits. I always see pvpers saying "how could you spend that much time in csing ? being #1 is absolutly useless, etc". But pvmers are like pvpers, 50% for fun and 50% for "glory". While pvmers hunting ranks in ladder, pvpers hunting "trophies" and they exhibit em on jsp profiles (there are many examples).

All that shits to say pvmers can understand why pvpers are pvping and pvpers can understand why pvmer are pvming ! but i wonder how we could understand why that much boters boting in cs, getting 93+ in priv cs and dont sell items on jsp ! where is the profit for the community ? and where is the profit for em ???!!!

The best way to bot would be pubs cs, then "noobies" could learn and get lvls. They stop chars at 90 and remake, then they dont kill the ladder for "high pvmers". They selling items on jsp. They would get profit on jsp, and profit by helping the community. Every one would love boters and we could play d2 in a Care Bears world :baby:
