anyone know whats up with the test realm now?

when they first came back online, there was no test realm option, just connected normally to east, it seemed to run faster...
now i have a test realm button, and regular east, and they are very much different realms... i was under the impression that east would no longer exist, it would be replaced with the test realm..
havn't been on for a couple days so wondered if there was any news on this that i missed.

it also appears that you can id things in the test realm, but on regular east they are still unid, so you can go id an item, if it sucks you can sell it unid... so go id all your annis and sell the low ones unid for 400% profit hahah
