played gw some towards the end of its time before gw2 came out
trinity and mar and sammy played gw a lot and I believe they are playing gw2 cause they were looking forward to it heavily.
not entirely sure I liked gw, but there was soooo much to it and sooo much left to do that I can't really say I played it enough. The game was more than worth its money. I played it for about 4 months pretty solidly and didnt even come close to doing everything. Can't say that about any other game. The support for gw and gw2 seems to be excellent. They do a lot of updates and tend to listen to the players.
One thing particularly about gw, which i dont know if it is still the case in gw2, there were a lot of things you pretty much HAD to attempt with a good team of players. You could not solo it. Which for some people is a good thing and for others it isn't.
