G8 job on the posting of this. I just learned about this the other day.

For those of you questioning (in case this hasnt been answered I am too lazy to read all the pages) "Why not use a5 quest to socket a sup armor?" Simple. Using the glitch on a normal armor gets you def greater then a sup armor. People use this to make their bugged runewords. The guy that taught me this ... had a Stone Scarab husk.... Over 5k Defense. This kind of defense is not possible on a sup to my knowledge. Most people I have seen though, make the armors and add them to their merc so they dont break. Pity this does not work on weapons giving them even more damage, then my EBOTD merc might be doing over 30-40k a hit instead of his 21k T_T

Exactly! only sacred armor can reach 5K

474*1.5*1.5*3.9=4159

so 4159 is max on scarab husk.
wich still is an awful amount of def.
