My advice. Be very careful lol. Super fucking fun car. But you better know a lil about rotary engines.and be somewhat knowalagable in general automotive. Or have dem staxx.
Check your oil at least every 2 fill ups. I checked mine every fill up.
Pm me if you have any trouble and or questions as I had lots with mine. That car is why I know what I do lol.
But really I enjoyed my rx8 throughout. Ups and downs. I miss mine

I understand. I've got a pretty nice car at the moment, very manageable, doesn't need much attention at all - very nice to drive. But it's a little boring ya know? I've only owned two cars so far.... picked up my current one for about $14,000.
I've also been told (by a mechanic friend) that he has recently had a string of them (2003/2004 models) coming in for rebuilds at around the 100,000 km mark (I also understand that's a pretty general thing for the RX series).
but I reaaaaallly like the look of them, as well as that they look practical as well as fun, I dunno. Playing with ideas at the moment and I have been looking around, but those look ideal.
I do have the money (to buy and/or do maintenance) and I am willing to pick up more automotive skills though.
