Thats the cheap Gear, some years ago, when you saw a Sorc with irathas set, you would call her noob, now this guild is more popular than Red Hdin gear.

Rushing Issues

It is a proven fact that there is no one Sorc that can effectively take on the entire game by itself,

I agree with the "effectively" part. However, I have had good luck with a fireball/glacial spike sorc. You must sacrifice the 20 into tele, but it's a sorc that can solo hell chaos albeit a little slow due to the fire immunes. But a combo of glacial spike and static takes out the fire immunes. There is a little difficulty with fire immune bosses because the spike can't freeze them, making Viz a bit tuffer to pwn, but the spike does slow them down considerably. Otherwise, I like this over any other sorc for hell chaos, mainly because those stupid bone spirit skeles are cold immune and harder to kill with a cold sorc and their minions are fire immune and can be frozen by the spike and static'd/spiked to death comparably easily.

Nice build!

few questions.

1:Why twitch?

2:What about those monsters that have cold and light immune?

3:People say, put 1 or few into firewall or fireball, but how 1 or few can kill hell monsters? it will take a while

4:What other items would you recomend if the person is completely poor? exmp: no shard, no fcr res rings, boots, etc.

Those items may be cheap but not everyone has them.

1. Twitch is for the +% to block as dex does not count towards block rate in classic.

2. You don't bother with them.

3. It takes forever so see #2.

4. For effective rushing %fcr and %fhr is essential. You can get a wand as they are cheaper but you will need magefist and 10%fcr ring to reach 50%fcr breakpoint.

Cool, nice to know that but another question that is about #2. What about a spawn monster from one on of the 3 seal in CS with those immunes? you have to deal with them in order to spawn diablo.

Its faster just to remake the game as seis will rarely spawn as CI and the chances of happening multiple times in a row are really small.

PvM Frozen Orb Rush Sorc

This build is really beginner-friendly, and it is one of the most effective and cheapest Frozen Orb Rush Sorc Builds in Classic Diablo II.

Gear
Helm: Iratha's Coil
Weapon: Spectral Shard
Shield: 3-Socket PDiamond Large Shield
Armor: Twitchthroe
Gloves: Iratha's Cuff
Boots: FHR 3x FR/LR/PR* or 2x FR/LR/PR* Boots OR Hotspur
Belt: Iratha's Cord
Left Ring: FCR 2x FR/LR/PR*
Right Ring: FCR 2x FR/LR/PR*
Amulet: Iratha's Collar

* Combination of any 2 or 3 Resists

Stats
45 Base Str, Base Dex, Base Energy, Rest Vita

Skills (Level 80)
20 Frozen Orb
20 Cold Mastery
20 Icebolt
20 Teleport
1 Static Field
3 Warmth
1 Frost Nova
1 Ice Blast
1 Glacial Spike
1 Blizzard
1 Telekinesis

With this build, you won't have to Mana potting constantly because of Maxed Teleport. For those of you who don't already know, adding points to Teleport reduces the amount of Mana required for each Tele. (Maxed Tele = 5 Mana per Tele, and 24 Tele from added skills = 1 Mana per Tele.) Adding a point to Warmth is optional for Mana regeneration, but I recommend putting one into it so you'll be able to Tele indefinitely.

Leveling

If you don't have someone to Chant you, please refer to the method below.

Get the Sorc to Level 20, and hit up Normal Cow games to Level 25-30. Once you acquire Frozen Orb, you can try Norm CSing to gain a few levels, or you can NM Cow with a group to Level 40-45. After this, play with a group through Hell, and get to CS; the rest of your leveling is done here.

Rushing Issues

It is a proven fact that there is no one Sorc that can effectively take on the entire game by itself, and you will need help when rushing, especially when it comes to Hell Act 2 and 3. So what about adding a second kill spell, you ask? You could do that, but from personal experience, it doesn't make the rushing any easier. If you are rushing someone, make sure you have access to another high-level character that can effectively kill Cold Immunes in Claw Viper Temple Level 2, Arcane Sanctuary, and Travincial - preferably, a PvM Barb.

Corrections:
Skills (Level 80+)
1 to warmth
DON'T MAX TELE (Nothing wrong with using mana pots)
Max Fire Wall
W/E is left goes into Fire Mastery

Stats
45 Base Str, Base Dex, 100 Base Energy, Rest Vita

(You will be able to MF and RUSH with this build, as well as just simply play the game.)
For MF, just put on a gull and maybe 2 nagels (Mf boots?). IMO MF is overated, just kill some monsters and rares will drop.
You will hit only 2 places where you hit CR/FR immunes, and it really matters.
1. Sometime in NM CS at Lord De Seis... Just static the fuxor and stab him w/your shard (Maybe 1 every 50 rushes it happens)
2. Hell Trav (1-2 of the councilmen will have)... Just clear out the rest using orb, and then buy yourself a LIGHT merc to help u finish the others off. You static, the merc will do his thing. (Or you can static shard again)
