It is mind blowing that some people prefer to play on 800x600 ancient graphics which literally makes your eyes bleed, because

They fixed str bug so you actually need str to wear items, duh
They fixed etheral def bug, but so they did for everyone
you can't stun lock infinitely anymore, cuz that was fair


Also because "this and that" pvp changes, from a game which NEVER, BUT NEVER cared about pvp AT ALL. When currently "meta" D2LOD a "gm" duel requires to follow 12 thousand user made rules to be even remotely be close to be balanced

even in PvM community some people are mad that they fixed eth armor bug or str bug, but they are very glad they fixed mana burn or snakes at nihla bug.

It is kinda obvious that if you start fixing bugs you'll fix all of them, doesn't matter if the community actually likes the bug or not. It is really not hard to understand that.


Also, if you'd have the actual numbers you'd see that statistically next to noone plays d2lod compared to the playerbase of D2R.

Most of those 12 thousand user made rules still apply. Also graphics are not why people play this game

90%+ of that “statistic” is probably bots.

pvp keeps this game and d2Lod more alive , even if that wasn’t the intention.
I’ve had friends that never played d2 come to this and d2R just because of pvp vids they seen on youtube. I’ve never pvm’d except to lvl to 80+ to pvp and then buy gear — which helps d2 economy

Agree with glitches being patched. Idk why boomers are so upset about flaws in the game being fixed. I doubt they’d come back even if it was reverted. The only reason I’d like them fixed is it might bring more players back

Graphics are not why play this game, true dat, but it does help keep playing it if i can play it in 3440x1440 glorius pixels.

Those rules can be changed and adjusted- Again, even in D2lod pvp is shit and ridicolously unbalanced. You just need to adapt if you want to PvP in D2R thatsall. And anyone who says it's better to play in 800x600 in 2023 is straight lier.



Sure, there are ton of bots in D2R. But even back in a day, best days of D2- Pvmers were still 10 to 1 pvpers on all servers. You kidding yourself if you'd think that pvp community was at all significant. Surely, if they were anything, some of those hated new changes would have been for improving Pvp. But, all they did was unintentionally fixed some bugs which effected Pvp.

I understand that in here pvp looks in much better in representation, and by items value huge part of economy, but majory of players to this day are happy to find a shako or an occy.

I think most people tried pvp they just got demolished or nk’d and never played again lol, by your dislike of pvp it seems you were one of those guys . You can find more pvp games up then lets say— chaos games these days at least on NL or late ladder seasons. And there is discords with 1000s of members just for pvp. its actually more alive than jsp makes you think
