Why do you all care so much?

GTakin got his stuff back for free. Gcat was never going to give the stuff back for free, so this is one of the only ways that the most positive end result could have happened?

Regardless of any motives that you think SpamBam might have had, would any of you have bought the gear from Gcat and returned it to Gtakin for free? If not, you should all be happy. This is one of the only ways that the desired end result could have been achieved.

It's pretty obvious that the only reason the items are being returned is because of pressure from the community.. so it's a pretty good thing we do care. If this was about doing what was "right" then the items would have been returned immediately.

With the amount he spent in $, most logical people would have confirmed history with previous owners to verify they weren't stolen or duped. Seeing as he didn't, only (at least to me) shows he knew they were stolen from someone and wanted to profit from their loss.
Sadly for him, they were from a well known user and not from a rand like me.

Great, but the end goal was achieved. Is it not time to back off now? The insults and shit aren't needed. Let's just go back to playing Diablo 2. He isn't using stolen gear, so he isn't breaking any rules of the melee ladder. There's no reason to keep shunning him.

At the end of the day, we can't even be 100% that SpamBam did know it was stolen from Gtakin. We have trustworthy people vouching that he didn't know and trustworthy people claiming he did know. Gcat scammed two people and is the only one who came out positive. Let's just move on and play diablo.

Scott gave me permission multiple times to keep the gear, sell the gear, or use the gear, and I still gave it back. He also literally said he would try to keep you from doing exactly what you are doing. You don't actually care about Scott at all if your going to keep acting against his wishes.
