Anyway nice guide, i have a loader so there is no need to get a 2nd kill skill like fireball or any of that, in a2 hell i do everything except for viper then when i get to level 2 viper i have them tp then i either bring in my din or barb, then i switch back to sorc and finish it up. at a3 trav i bring in my trav barb and kill it, then i just finish up mephisto on my barb (my rush sorc is also a meph glitcher smile.gif )

Hoi, maybe im wrong bud i use this build for 2 seasons now and i rush 8 pl game inc.act 2 hell

Goldskin full plate mail (all res 35)
The Ward all res 50
Froatburn
Bladebuckle belt rare boots res and 2 rings fcr res

Stats:
str 80
dex 51
vit 259 (749)
eng 130 (625)
And duriel hell cost me only 2 red pots.

It will do its job but in all honesty I have yet to come across another guide that is better than Akukami's.

Someone might have mentioned this earlier but I'm lazy to read through the 8 pages of posts.

This build did not include shiver armor. It's very worth the 2 points it takes to get it.

After orb, cold mast, icebolt (sometimes 15 icebolt is an idea)..
You should just try out builds with combinations of warmth, static, energy shield, teleport and see which you like best.

I see a lot of softcore players here saying to raise energy quite a bit...If your playing hardcore put those points into vit instead the energy. Don't have to add anything to energy.

I've been using this guide for my classic rush sorc, I'm currently level 65

Current Character
60 Str
Base Dex
Rest Vit
100 Energy (150 mana was not cutting it)

20 Ice Bolt
20 Frozen Orb
17 Ice Mastery
1 Static
1 Warmth
14ish Teleport (currently pumping)

Irthra's Set
3x P Diamond Tower Shield
2x FCR rings w/ attack rating and + minimum damage (makes hitting Cold Immune Lord easier, and I haven't foundy any other ones)
10 FHR Boots with random resist
Shard

I thought negative resist capped at -100% so wouldn't level 17 Cold Mastery be best? Or does that refer to the fact you can't get there current resist under -100%?
When teleporting through the tombs I just get massacered by the various monsters there, any tips?
I am currently worried about sucess in act 2 general, I can go through act 1 hell no problem

instead of statting shiver/frozen armor - shop a +2 /armor staff - 1x3 and keep it in cube or inventory for pre-cast before beginning that portion of the rush where you have the most difficulty.

for some, it may be nm act4 in a full game - for most it won't be until hell act2 dealing with vipers however.
