I remember doing construction work using a hydraulic jackhammer to build a new parking garage for these "old, weak, vulnerable" seniors.
We even started late so as not to disturb their sleep. Sluggin it in a protective suit at 40C (sometimes with a hangover green as fuck) we got on the elevator one morning and these old fucks were giving us the evil eye for making noise repairing their shit... When they got off my boss said "And people wonder why old people get beat up"
