Not legacy. Not D3. Not PoE. The other one mentioned.
(I remember when it first launched, jsp was super anti-directly naming it because "3rd party" non sense, so just skirting around saying it lol)
It's as if Legacy didn't have development end. Fixed a lot of bugs. Balanced mechanics (can't just LOL-crushing blow-stack vs bosses, for example). Balanced skills. Improved AI for things like mercs/minions. Actual endgame content. Things like enigma and infinity aren't must haves to make builds playable. Tons of quality of life changes. Loot filters. A trading site. Maphack and FG usage will get players banned--and they monitor things heavily. Balanced items (uniques, runewords, sets, etc--even crafting is worthwhile now). Community is solid. Mostly just people who loved playing D2. Active discord to ask questions. After a couple weeks into the season, creator will do build showcases where he downloads people's characters and demos them for everyone on twitch to show off what either godly characters people have put together, unique/flying under the radar builds, or even viable meme builds.
Y'all should come play, considering it's dead time of season for D2R.
