i think d3 will get better and better. with the money blizz is going to make off the ah and the money they've put into it they won't let d3 die.

I'm down for some d2. I'm gonna dl now.

really? just do what i did, watch the cinematics.. saved you $60 + a new computer.
anyone notice that video games are getting a lot more expensive, but a lot less 'game'

d2 $10 (battle chest $40) - 10 + years of replayablity and entertainment, hours of play through.
cs $10 - 12+ years, still going strong.
sc 6+ years people loved it

d3 $60 -$100 2 weeks and people are already sick of it.
cs source $50 - ~7 years, not as good as cs 1.6, cs:go is supposed to fix these problems and combine the better graphics of source with the excellent gameplay of 1.6
sc2 $60 - no one even plays it.

watching 30 minutes of cinematics isnt the same as playing the game, i think it will have a lot of replayability, we just havent figured out where yet.
And the fact that d2 has 10+ years of replayability is because of the LoD expansion pack, where most people play. I can guarantee the game wouldnt have been as popular as it is now had they not released it, and d3 has so much room for dlc and expansions I bet this will probably be played just as much as d2

the only discussion here lately has been d3, and everyone was all excited, then they got it, and now they are all pissed off and coming back to d2.

I am playing d2 with a few friends and have invited everyone to join us.

Besides, after 8+ years of me, you should know I like to shit talk :) that is why they call me negative nancy.

valid points, but considering d3 was in development for at least 5 years, probably longer than when they actually announced it.. i think that speaks for itself. At least it does for me.
Every game that blizzard has released has been entirely corrupted by hacks/bots and exploits due to poor coding and game design, usually within a few months. D3 is already riddled with problems, after an extensively long beta period no less. With little attempt to fix any of their problems.
I will never support blizzard again, and sure, what is one person when they have millions? Not much. Doesn't change the principle.

i have yet to see these hacks and bots you speak of that are riddling d3, the only thing I see is the azmodan xp 'glitch'...which really doesnt exploit a huge thing considering its super easy to get to 60 anyway.
and as for there being little attempt to fix them, this is a prime example of you not knowing what youre talking about because you have no connection to the game whatsoever, they JUST fixed a problem with the AH yesterday which caused people to not get gold for the things they sell. they also fixed a problem with demon hunters which caused them to drop whenever they walked through water (a problem that could not have been fixed in beta because it happened in act 2), and im pretty sure (not positive because I dont use the templar) they fixed the templar gear issues. So yeah, they ARE actively trying to fix things. But you wouldnt know, because youre too busy focusing on things that go wrong in a brand new game which you have no experience playing.
