Because even without good gear expansion is 1-85 in a day or much less if you know what your doing 2 days if the ladder just reset..( did this on hardcore expansion this season with a realm down)
99 isnt even an accomplishment in expansion
Not to mention you add the runewords and uniques of expansion and it quickly becomes the skilless mess of spam and bots and hacks that it is today

classic on the other hand no one looks the same because everyone doesn't use the exact same gear
runewords arent there to make everyone so overpowered that you litterally cant die unless u afk
its all around more fun because you actually have to play more than just standing in throne waiting for bot to baal you..

i also read somewhere in here that hell baal is harder than classic diablo
how many people do you see slain by baal? only thing harder about him is that he has more life other than that hes a pushover

I love how the kid who started this thread insists that it takes classic characters a long time to kill Baal, while it takes him 10 seconds,
For one, obv LOL @ Baal in classic. Noob.
For two, Static Field isn't capped in nm and hell like it is in expansion, thus if we even could get to baal, we'd still drop him in less than 10 seconds.

ladders ago when u could go at a5 on classic , baalrun with classic chars was easy , so with lod chars ..

i like classic due to imbuing and random shit and using sojs to socket items
