If this is to be used as currency (which I doubt because of the endless supply - unless the rate of key drops diminish over time) then you should be able to trade it. I will check tonight to see if you can put the SoH in a trade window. But why would they reinstitute a new currency after purposely ridding of the millions of SOJs?

I remembered reading somewhere that having it in your possession would "attract" something to you (uberuberDemon) because it is a sign that you killed the three uberDemons. I guess there is no way to scour the code to find any references to the SoH in an effort to reverse engineer its use?

Well so far, the most plausible guess is that it is a standard of currency. Even if that is NOT its actual purpose, it has already been used as such.

Here's a thought: perhaps this is one item that can't be duped.

if you can put it in the trade window (you can) then it can mostlikly be duped, seeing as its basically a charm (makes a charm noise too ) and you can have as many as you want it probably can be duped
whereas im guessing anni and hellfire cant? because you cant trade them and you can only have one, meaning that you wouldnt be able to dupe it
