Like fuck it has. it disappeared for an entire fucking season.
No
Season 4 @ start NerDz was the most active channel, well at the time it was Nurbz or something like that cause they lost Nerdz.
James (tentinmypants) and I got shockbaal started within 3 weeks of season 4 start and after that it filled right up again.
At the time Ed was running shockbaal. After some disputes with Ed in January I left shockbaal and started running for Eastbaal.
By March, shockbaal was just about dead. And Eastbaal was thriving. Ed pretty much sad fuck it and left the channel to rot.
S5 2 weeks in Kyle came back and asked me to help him start shockbaal up again. At the time I was on hc with plans to be the first 99 dial up on hc. James wanted to come back to sc since hc was so dead, so I said why not. Yet again James and I got Shockbaal going again. Kyle even started playing again, and since then the channel has been the most active channel around. Yes there are a lot of new randoms, the simple fact is that almost all the old greats have quit. However, we still have a handful of the old greats, as well as some great new runners, and a lot of decent runners. We have a fun environment, and most of all, we have never supported botting. Every other channel has turned to botting at some point since s4.
In a dying world of d2 (and it is only dying because regular baalers like you guys have either quit or started botting) Shockbaal has stood the test of time, and this season is totally dominating the baal run scene. With more 99's than every other channel combined there just plain is no arguement.
