lol, your so defiant.
and by cold/fire immunes i mean De-seis [nm/hell] i only put one point in firewall/nova [ or tk ] not actually going overboard as far as Dual/Tri elemental
I get bored with the game frequently. At the moment, I have an orber that will eventually be yet another mephy glitcher, but for now is a nm hell cs/fk-er. She's clvl 66, nearly 67 already. Still never quested nm, and still hasn't done any of the skill quests.
Aside from the crying of the folks in the NM Cow games I raid, there are no difficulties in clearing an entire cs. Even when the rare cold immune de seis spawns with his crack addict aura, I simply static him to a sliver, return to town for some more pots, and swap out the shard/shield for a +2, 20% fcr +2 (or is it +3? I forget) thunderstorm staff I found that's 1x4 and fits easily in the cube.
cast ts, continue static-ing whilst I flit around to avoid seis' attempts at psn/fire/cold blasts until he finally gets zapped. *shrug*
the one point variants of a build you reference
aren't really worth pointing out are they? the orb-sorc I mentioned above has 5 in static just for shits n giggles. as mentioned by the author, small variants in skill/stat allocations really don't matter much on this build, and are usually just done for preference.
some old school svs builders prefer to see/use warmth/rep and/or ES and giant mana pools. I myself have always prefered large vita pools, and enough str for gear.
