MY PC is to weak.
D2R prices are to high for a 36 year old man to play up his gear xD
D2lod has better duels. More active. Usefull stun. More balance in many ways.

D2R has some cool new features, but it does not outweight the quality of d2lod when it comes to gameplay.
And graphics just make games less direct, more like a floaty slow paced game for some more pixels.
In my eyes high graphics destroy games. D2r is no different.

The reason why cod got so popular vs its contenders was that they screw graphics and went 60fps meanwhile their contenders was running higher graphics at 25fps.
You see it in new games today, server issues, fps issues, stuttering, wierd bugs. Much due to they push graphic above its hardware.
We play vs one eachother over hardwired fiber. Long distances, at servers working their full to keep up, with codes trying to balance shit out and trying to figure out where we are and what we are doing.
Ofc that will fail, and the better graphics to be transfered back and forth, the more delay.

Also, the chat funcitons and stuff is just aids in d2r. Looks like a twitchchat or something, if u click ur mouse in that area u open chat lol.

Yes. You call it funny i call it fact.

I think its a philosophical thing more than anything.

Some people cant stand ANY changes and therefor hat on D2R.

Other thing is PvP. Not into it, but heard that ita worse in D2R. So thats probably the only REAL reason.

D2R is like looking at a world made in clay... that has been smeared. Also the zon appearance changes were atrocious.



Riiiight... because bugged items are so overpowered that people forgot how to duel without them? Psssst, they aren't that much stronger compared to normal available items/builds lol with the exception of what? bmanas? Bmanas is pretty overpowered for a properly built ES sorc... but even then... it is still just a sorc and can be dealt with by other means.

The life of the game d2lod was supported by an active pvp community.
The game d2r had one of its game mechanic's altered - faster hit recovery, making HLD teleport based duels, stale, compared to d2r. desync was also removed in d2r (or reduced,if you will) which affected amazons in particular.

game mechanic's have basically changed, as have skills. d2lod was the better teleporting dueling game then d2r.
