come on Caulder give it a chance at least, doesn't look the greatest to me but the aspect of playing with people i haven't talked to in a while sounds great to me. D2 wasn't the best game to me but what made it great was the interactions and friendships i found on it. Even to this day over 10 years later i'm still talking to those people just like my good friends in real life.
still playing with Grampa and Phish on PoE, Trinity is on occasionally and talk to Josh occasionally when he streams his retro games on twitch. I am on steam and discord usually playing something just about every day. Plenty of good games to play.
I agree 100% the interactions in d2 is what made it so great, and those will not happen in a remastered version... we could play with friends all over the world even with shitty internet connections, that just is not possible with games and the amount of bandwidth needed anymore.
