nothing seems to work to lift the ban. been 4 days for me now.

I live in Norway. I have internet from Canal Digital. When trying to log in to battle.net I get the temporary restricted message. But when I use my phones cellular internet connection I can log in and play as much as I want. So ihe solution is to get another internet connection, either via your phone or some other way. I play 100% legit.

just got back from a family bbq all excited figuring my ban was up, but nope coming up on 48 hours still server down. wahQQ

this worked for me, too. created a hot spot off my iphone. but it's laggy as fuck.

Well, I just tried something out. I picked up my laptop, carried it to someone elses house who has a different Internet Service Provider. I was able to log on, make games, join games no problem. This is strictly an IP ban as far as I can tell, and as I said before, it's entirely possible it's permanent. I can't do it at this hour, but in the coming days I'm going to try to call my internet service provider and see if they can do anything. If not, I'm basically going to go to someone else's house, make sure my various characters on my various accounts are permed and then leave Diablo 2 for a while and hope they can fix the problem some time in the next two months.
