Wouldn't take back any of those years though, it was all so important to me.
I appreciate the offer of talking though :)

I think the biggest thing for me is not knowing what to do without a mum, I'm 30 next year but like.... she won't be there anymore. I'm not a kid but like.... I dunno, it's just not right.

And yup, mum has been enjoying just seeing and hearing him I think, it was one of her goals to meet him.

Yeah bit of a downer, but we've been going through it for about 4 years so it has been a long road, just unfortunately that road is ending now.

It's sucks, but thinking about this stuff is good now, you process it and it doesn't hit you all at once when you're out somewhere. I remember being at my brother's wedding and his wife was getting walked down the aisle, and then the father/daughter dance and it suddenly hit me like "Oh, shit, I won't ever get to do this kind of stuff." Wish I would have thought about it and kind of mentally prepared myself beforehand. Now I have a real dark sense of humor and I'm the first person to make a dead dad joke.

And yeah I wouldn't have changed anything about the baaling years. Being a no-lifer was great, even if I did have to hang around with pat for years. (jk cuteboi)

this is the first year my parents wont be flying home for christmas and i am terrified
who's gonna let me come stay with them for the holidays
i cannot offer rent and i will be a nuisance
