Tô me it happened after I left a char idling ingame and went to do somethingelse. Usually it just logs out automatically, and it seemed so to me when I came back to check(it was in the channel), but then when I tried to log in again the error message appeared.

i did mean ur account ( not char) did not logg off correctly.

I can log onto the character and account fine but not the cdkey, so it's likely a bigger system issue

I looked on our side, we received some similar reports, it was reported to our developers, if something is confirmed, they can correct it on their side. For the moment, an intervention could be made on your account, which should allow you to reconnect again.

Take a pic of your CDs showing the CDkeys from your Discs, load them up and send them to Blizzard proving that your CDkeys are YOURS. They can identify your IP address as well.
