You really think most people will actually find these runes? Most of these runes are obtained through trade or straight up buying it off sites. People spend years playing without ever finding these runes. I'm not gonna spend 18 hours circling P8 Lower Kurast to find an Enigma, that's stupid asf.

It's a whole lot easier to exploit idiots into spending hundreds or thousands on a Shako or Occy on week 1 than it is to actually find Runes. This is precisely why bots are bad; you need to play PvM where it is profitable, but then as it tapers off you buy from them when they've done all the work and you made x10 on week 1 than they did the rest of the season. They do the work, but they have the buyers too. Everyone is happy.

It's not and never has been "one denies needing the other", even if people claimed as such.

i agree with that but my point is D2r only has pvm to offer
without pvp our goals are only to improve our pvm characters
and pvm characters dont need godly gear
once you have a fully geared mf char thats it you've completed the game
roll credits

You can still PvP with those glitches and bugs not part of the game. The large majority of players still have the incline of having to practice good reflexes, trying different chars, needing 10k fg in gear to actually have a decent char set for PvPing, and just not taking the game as seriously.

If you're at the top of the echelon, then sure, maybe these nuances are annoying. But the .001% does not make up the entirety of the game audience, and those who enjoy PvP can still set aside those fixes. I certainly don't like spamming W just to play.
