Not going to explain why I think this is the case.

D2R playerbase will massively decrease within 6 months. Most players are new to D2 or are players who have returned due to nostalgia, 80% of them will be gone come summer. (Probably a long time before. January-February.) Out of the remaining 20%, 25% will return to D2. Splitting the playerbase 35-40:65-60, which is bad for both D2 and D2R.

At the moment, prices of non GZ items, such as perfect uniques are higher on EU non-ladder than ladder now. Non-ladder will get a reality check within a year.

That's my prediction anyways.

It is an eyesore to those without imagination, d2r is where things will be worthless like d3 or is that an eyesore also? Not a good metric to judge by unless you have a stake in artificially inflating one pixel over the other.

Yeah sure, but d2 is actually a eyesore, I love the game but the graphics are literally eye herpes, let alone all the bugged rubbish in it aswell, let it go.

Ive played for over 20 years and I have 20/15 vision so I highly doubt it is doing damage. But all the flashing from d3 or POE I am sure will cause seizures. So I beg to differ that these new titles are eye sores and seizure inducing not the other way around. U seem to have a non independent thinking brain who likes to bandwagon phrases like 'eyesore' and the new one 'herpes' which you didn't come up with but are merely recapitulating because you must think it sounds cool as a point of argument. Do you also sit on discord all day with ur bandmates learning the secrets of the universe? To each their own have fun in seizure land!

Lol negative. D2r just leaves everything sore.. pvp is a disaster and it will never be fixed. They’ve known about the issues therein since the first test phase and activision gives zero fux. Game’s on sale for $30 and not showing any sustainable interest in new players... and we all know old players can only pvm so much without pvp to really look forward to or dropper networks to sell from lol.

In short d2r is the abomination and I wouldn’t be surprised if it flops completely out and loses support within 1yr (d4 release is gonna nuke it) but I wouldn’t expect any other tone from a nerd with a d2r custom sig lollll GUYS LOOK I HAVE ANIMAL SORCERER

imo D2R killed D2 by showing how it can look with updated graphics
unfortunately the game is BROKEN and wont last another 6 months unless they figure out how to fix the BS
and make PvP a thing again
however i dont think they are capable of fixing D2R even if they wanted to
they killed the Diablo franchise at D3 and are now milking the name for every dollar they can

Always funny to see the same useast pvp clowns claiming vanilla D2LOD will reborn due to D2R current situation.
It s almost impossible for a basic human to go back to those cancer graphics after playing D2R.
