Uninstall D2 completly clear everything that is associated with it.
Installed D2 with an old key used by a proxy.
No change and still not working.

Redid the above but with a new bought key and it still will not let me in on my home / legit computer/game.

This has made me draw the conclusion that a new system is put in place to prevent multi logging and complete rows of IPS are being taken down (considering the IPS of proxies are mainly starting off the same and just the last few digits differ).


Amount of keys tested: 39
Amount of proxies tested: 20
Amount of proxie providers: 12


To help monitor this please if you have lost your ability to connect PM me how you were running (local ip or proxie) and error message shown.
If using a proxie please provide the 'provider' of said proxie to add to the above amount no need actual ip's or logins just to see and monitor the situation.

I have read threads on B.Net's forums where some people did say that B.Net flagged their homenet because for some reason B.Net didn't yet recognize the ISP so if that's what you are referring to then yes I agree.

I've also heard that some ISPs have leased out business class IP's to residential areas for whatever reason which honestly kind of sucks because Blizzard basically is saying they don't care and that you have to get a new IP address to people in that situation.

But yea, if you aren't using bots, trig/hacks and have a residential-class IP address and you aren't doing the usual things that cause a temp ban, you should be fine.

They want everyone to start playing the newer, shittier Diablo games that come out.

All they have to basically do is remaster Diablo II, keep and improve the same game mechanics and perhaps people would finally let go of Diablo II but lol gl with new Blizzard being able to do anything right.
