Trying to play d2 in class but it isn't working.
Already have it all installed, put it in windowed mode, and listed as an exception in the firewall.
For some reason when I try to run it when the disc is either in or out of the drive it says to insert the disc.
However I have already copied d2xmusic.mpq and d2xvideo.mpq off of my disc and into the diablo 2 program files folder.
As of now the install is 1.07 patch but I can't even run it with the disc in.. Any help?
Edit: fixed, just had to run as admin.

try d/ling the patches from blizz website?
if u can update it to 1.13
it should load i think

edit: seriously, i thought that this area suddenly became so vacant because reset and d3 were announced almost simultaneously (assuming everyone afked to wait for reset),

but here we are and we're less than 24 hours from reset and there are still only those of us here who stuck around to post once in a while during the waiting period

even the 4-5 people who told me they would play IRL seem to be flaking out

the enthusiasm is totally dead.

i was legitimately excited but this situation totally killed that lol.
