Ahhh I see, thanks for the explanation. Strange that the decided to do anything. I’m guessing it was in response to the long queues.

Seems most likely, yeah. Quell the voices on their forums for the most part, maybe hit a few by-standards. Good deal for them.

It's not a conspiracy, it's smart business.

You're just expecting a company to care, when in reality it exists to make money.

Ponzi schemes are also smart business, but they still qualify as conspiracies. This falls into the same type of behavior. It's shady, has ulterior motives and is money driven.
I'm not expecting anything from them, I have no vested interest in whichever way this goes.
If they make it 100% free of bots, I'll be glad. And if they don't, I'll just keep doing what I do.
To me it's just two ways to enjoy a great game.

This isn't a conspiracy though.

This game is Blizzard's cash cow and it has always been.

It's been fed a diet of crappy programmers and antiquated sever hardware ever since it's release.

They could probably limit players to one game a day while adding an in-game command to dupe an item and people would still buy copies of it 20 years from now.

If they cared about the players, they would have fixed the game a few weeks after release after the very first game-breaking exploit (gamble hack) was distributed.

I don't know why people give this company their money these days, I certainly don't.

24 hour ban

Try again 25 hours from now just to be safe

Not necessarily. I’ve had this last 3 days every time.

I'm not mad.

But next time that Blizzard launches a game and you're sitting there lagged out and can't play their broken garbage: Just know that they are just as confused as you are. One would think that people would learn about this company and what they are all about.

Goodbye Botters! You won't be missed. Now you can see this game and economy will floursih fine without you. Nobody cares if you have kids and can't play anymore. You don't deserve the gear, or the top of the ladders. Prices will stay higher longer, items more rare. I'm looking forward to the rest of this ladder now. Maybe even the next one too. Peace I hope you're all scared now. Get good at the actual game!!! 0 ques?? I wonder if there is a connection :D

Sorry to burst your bubble bro, I wish they would outright get rid of all bots myself but that’s not what’s happening here. There are countless bots still going strong, and sure, some mass botters will quit because of this. But most will be back before you know it in full effect. Still hoping for the remaster myself, until then d2 is a bot game and it seems nothing will change that.
