This isn't a conspiracy though.
This game is Blizzard's cash cow and it has always been.
It's been fed a diet of crappy programmers and antiquated sever hardware ever since it's release.
They could probably limit players to one game a day while adding an in-game command to dupe an item and people would still buy copies of it 20 years from now.
If they cared about the players, they would have fixed the game a few weeks after release after the very first game-breaking exploit (gamble hack) was distributed.
I don't know why people give this company their money these days, I certainly don't.
