Like a dark corner will be sad and cold, and you won't want to go near it, and when you look over there you just feel sooo sad for that corner

Whereas sitting near a warm heater or fire is an intense feeling of happiness and safety, objects/colours are feelings

Like, my friend owns two turtles and a turtle tank and we were sitting facing the tv, but the both of us kept looking back over at them to make sure they were okay, making sure they were still swimming etc, and then his gf turned the turtle light off so they'd sleep for the night, and it darkened the entire corner of the room, and it was like the most depressing shit ever.... not like make you cry type shit, but you just kinda feel sad

Exactly, it's quite intense, like it comes on real slow, but you feel a little uncomfortable for a bit, then its just smooth as fuck from then on, and it comes off really slowly too and you feel fantastic afterwards, like just a sense of calm.
