But I wasn't speaking about pub duel games. I was talking about actual tournaments or private duel games. Pub duel games have always and will always be a shit show.

The last tournament I watched was an assassin dueling a necro, they were both just spamming teleport and spells(traps for the assassin). The assassin took a couple hits and was almost dead but then "strategically" teleported long enough for their +life rep to bring them back to full health and then ended up winning the duel after what seemed like a week. And the people commentating on the duel were saying how skillful it was.

Fine, it's strategic spamming and taking advantage of class flaws to lock your opponent so you can strike a killing blow. What ever it is, it's boring to watch a 15 minute match for someone to be 1 shot.

As a single player game, it may be worth 12$ Or, maybe free, if you have already bought one of the D2 legacy games. But, at the price that they are selling it, it's theft and exploitation of their loyal fanbase. A fanbase which has shrunk so fast that you could hear the sonic boom as they ran out the Blizzard door. :rofl:
