Here we are 18 years later and it has still survived strongly due to that player base. So your “prediction” and as far as calling this game dead in 6 months will still be wrong.

if blizzard had made the game properly there should be hundreds of thousands of users who still play D3 but there is not because the game is SHIT
D2jsp is alive because of D2 not D3, check the D3 forums and you will see they are just as dead as the game is
my argument is D3 is a trash PVM game whos population died off really fast and D2R will follow in its footsteps when it has so much potential to be even better than the original
D3 is fucked we can pretend it never happened and move on but they constantly keep producing worse and worse content and tricking us into paying for it

Yeah I think you have a different idea of dead than most game companies. If every single active d3 player bought another copy of d3 today it still wouldn’t be enough to justify paying someone to update the game.

Just venting

I have been holding out for the ladder launch… hopefully alot of these problems are fixed. In the meantime im trying out projectd2 again this weekend for the new season, maybe it will scratch the itch for some of you as well. Wish we atleast got an announcement about projected ladder date…

It is a different game but enjoyable in its own way, just don't compare it to the old one..
In my opinion sooner or later who still plays lod will eventually migrate to d2r, that's just how it's supposed to be.
Pve is pretty much unchanged, pvp brought a lof of changes but you just need to adapt to the new things i'd say.
