Just another helpful tip.

If you experience on all your characters in your account can't create games or join existing games. Immediately STOP joining and creating games, the more you try the longer they IP ban you and log off D2 right away. So once you experience this, just please log of D2 and just chill out because your characters are tagged in their server system and the more you try to join/create games the longer they ban you. Most of the time, it's you joining/creating games too fast and that is why they tagged your character then if you continue they will tag your account CD key to their system for the 2-4week IP ban thinking you were botting or using 3rd party programs.

They do a daily server reset everyday 12pm EST. Just chill and try to do it once every couple hours or 12hrs or next day 12pm EST and you should be good and not get the 2week-4week ban.

I've always thought maybe this but while back had a bunch of people dispute it...have you tested or is there evidence somewhere?

I have tested it and experienced this myself and thats how I got the 2 weeks+ ban 10 days ago ish. Yesterday this happen to me again and i stopped to join/create, logged off d2, chilled and today 1pm I am able to logged back on fine and play.

I've experienced the same but haven't really "tested" it nor have I found anything conclusive that this is the case. But glad you got back on!

Thank you and if you got IP banned for the 2-4 week period time from what Blizz said from the ticket. You could try everyday using your cell phone's mobile hotspot wifi for internet instead and disconnect your main direct internet to log on d2 (which was ip banned 2-4weeks from Blizz). It worked for me, just try everyday and u'll get on before the 2-4 week period.

They only just ban your IP address, not ur cd key just FYI! So a new IP address, solves this issue if u were banned for 2-4weeks period
