I would agree with you but if you can show me another 15% mana boots or 08 glitched arreats I would be very surprised. I do agree that some of them are fake/too good to be true.

if you can tell me anyone who owned it/the history I could probably find it. I'd really be interested in seeing this.

All I can tell you is that I owned it prior to being hacked (brute-forced) a few months after the screenshot of the GHades was taken. And that I got it off a random pub right after 1.10 was released when Rust Storm failed to delete my Bugged String of Ears - traded it for the HoZ in question. So, any history before or after that is unkown, sorry.

Little known fact, also: Rust Storm didn't delete at least one Bugged String of Ears...it might still be out there in the hands of some random, or it might be gone forever - who knows.....
