Just popped in to comment on D3, as it's clear nobody here has really given it a chance.

It really is a great game, it's completely different than D2. It's more arcade style (I.E. Health globes) and has almost been dumbed down a bit (no runes/jewels, skill/stat points) to fit in for console players.

But it takes the same planning and thought to build a proper character. The lore/story of the campaign is really well done, and some of the spots in the game are just a blast to play. Also great atmosphere and sound.

If you think you're a badass, go complete the game Normal-Hell on Monster Power 10 (diffiiculty level) with a self found character. Gave me a new found respect for the game and helped to realize that it's not just about being an Auction House whore and that they actually put some serious thought in.

I appreciate the review, but everyone here likes a specific thing relating to gaming..everyone in baal runners likes sitting there and grinding for hours and hours, they like looking at stats and shit and hitting breakpoints, they like sitting down with the same 7 people for 8 hours straight just to get 2 mil xp out of the 300 mil it takes to level... which d3 just doesnt really allow you to do.

It took me like 2 weeks to get to max level, and it just doesnt hold your attention after your fourth playthrough of the campaign. The lore is really awesome, and I think everyone who played d2 and doesnt plan on playing d3 should at least google it to read the story..but the game isnt worth getting for anyone here whose looking the for the same type of game d2 is.
