There is no way D2 can stay afloat without the botting community. it drives the prices down to a reasonable offer for items, botters constantly buying CD keys puts money in their pocket, and it constantly keeps games up for legit players to leech, etc. There's a somewhat healthy relationship that exists between Blizzard, the Botting Community, and the Legit Community. Blizzard just wants to pretend they don't see it. Plus, botters seem to ALWAYS help out legit players whether it's gear, rushes, leech games etc in my experience.

They're effectively killing their own game; whether that's the plan or not, i have no idea.

Only thing that makes it worth it for blizzard to keep servers up is botters buying more keys.

Then with botters, people are able to level faster and get gear quicker, allowing them to play the only real content in the game, PVP.

People crying over bots should actual be thankful they exist.
