white chapel just played a show in syracuse where i live(d), i heard mixed reviews. Some people said the music was great etc... others said they didnt like it because of how impersonal the band was. Like usually whoever is playing kind of like..talks to you a bit? gets everyone pumped? idk how to describe it. They came out, were like "Were going to play some songs tonight" and then just played a few songs and left...and no encore.
