It was mostly hybrids and ungodly expensive items nobody else could even get like dupes or 08's and shit like that. It's nice to have a fresh start with valid items. I know people STILL spending 100's of thousands of fg's on their LOD chars. its dumb lol

They didnt fuck up WSG. That was a bug that was never supposed to be in the game lol I prefer PVP a lot more the way it's now, more variation and different playstyles other than just scrolling your mouse to get out of FHR lock. You actually have to build with FHR in mind.

GA took a lot of the fun out of it, just Hero Editoring a build took a lot of fun and variation out of it and took away from what D2 is. Not only that certain character builds had issues like BvC and desync/lag. It was okay, dont get me wrong I spend a couple years on d2GA, but east was 100x better and now with east being dead, D2R is 100x better. You cant even argue it, the only people who do are those that can't let go of the past lol it's funny because if D2GA was so good people would still be playing it, it's dead compared to how it was pre d2r release. All the old OG's like Toeshank are playing D2R. and the rest of the people I used to play with are on COD, TARKOV and WoW now. It's just not fun anymore, we beat that dead horse for years.

The meta is different, and I myself am finding D2R bringing back the joy I lost for LOD. So far I've made a Bone Necro, Ele Druid and Hammerdin and I'm enjoying it. Also theres literally 3 full rooms of duels everyday all day, I havnt seen that for so many years, it's refreshing. At first I was really upset about WSG because I main Trapsin/Hybrids mostly and I loved having FHR lock. But after playing I see it's way better without it. LOD was dying regardless if D2R came out or not, I for one am happy to have an updated game with better graphics and new mechanics. Something I'll be able to enjoy for another 20 years.

Actually, the developers back in FEB 2021 on MRLamasc stream actually said they were gonna keep every little bug in the game that made d2 gameplay special.WSG was in the BETA/ALPHA version of d2R til the final release which it wasn't.

and for a bug that was never supposed to be in the game...wsg was discovered maybe around 2004-2006? they released like what... 1.10,1.11,1.12,1.13,1.14...patches. they never tried to fix WsG..well when they did, they fucked it up so bad that players that would FPK in 2018(around that time) would rubberband around

and when they fixed it...well wsg was so fucked that now you can basically get out of everything! swirls,cano wasnt working as good as before, smite+FOH combo, MB+anything etc etc (you following me yet or nah); thats why since 2019/early 2020 most players came on GA because GA runs on an anterior patch(1.13d I believe..)

You know what took the fun out of d2? Idiots tradespawns that would hoard items valuable for PvPing or...simply for <<pixels>> as some sort of investment instead of playing the game...I remember when 9x45 lifers were 6k fg lol. Who the fuck would actually pay that ? No idea what you getting at, GA makes it easier for everyone to have same gear, but also 10000x different builds. How is d2R 100x better? They ruined what made d2 special, completely removed WSG, removed FHR, made Necros stronger, made BOWAs stronger, made druids stronger, made barb weaker. There is literally 0 FPKs on d2R, because trappers are useless now. You cannot do any combos that combines with swirl so,.. the game is made easier for newbs that couldnt understand the very simple mechanics of d2.

Exactly the glitch wasnt even well known until a few years ago, so why does it matter so much to you? theres been many many years of d2 pvp without WSG. and like you SAID they tried fixing it before and it screwed the game up, that shows you right there IT WASNT intentional, so why would they ADD it into D2R if they were trying to remove it? There were a TON of bugs they left in that didnt ruin how PVP was played. Trust me without WSG PVP is 1000x funner and PVP actually feels balanced for once. Like I said I was once with YOU and hated that they removed WSG because I used it as a crutch in dueling especially with my trapsin. But now that I've played without it I find it better. MY qual was with your statement "D2GA is better than D2R cause of WSG." I mean if thats how you feel then I cant argue that, they did remove a bug that effects PVP, but its just that a bug, it shouldnt be in the game anyways, it never was supposed to be. But D2GA is a pile of dogshit. If D2GA was so good people like Toeshank would still be playing it, they arent they play D2R, all the good duelers are now on D2R, so clearly is superior.

D2R and LOD are not completely different games that was an ignorant statement. All D2R is, is a pretty face ontop of LOD, you can even press G and have the same graphics.
