You're taking it out of context. I would just repeat myself, so i'm not discussing this further, sorry.

Context doesn't matter with a statement as dumb as you made.

The correct answer is nothing. You don't owe another player anything for sending a buyer to you.

Finders fee to pay someone. Let say an item is worth 15k-20k, if they find a buyer for the item, what is a good/fair finders fee to pay them.

Idk if it matters, but for d2r

Man some people in this post has no real world experience.

Honestly man, you should just pay a flat amount. For a 20k item, 1k is already generous. That's 5% of the item value only.

I'm not the one forcing the issue or asking the question.. i'm answering a question and everyone is attacking me instead of trying to see the logic.

Wouldn't you like that, if you became depressed and gave up due to particular life circumstances, that someone cared and carried you? That's how a society works, a chain is never stronger than it's weakest link, that's why we pay taxes. And that's why we should focus on making everyone richer .. not try to rip everybody else off.

It's very easy to see this point: The power is to sustain other lives. That is a huge power. There is also the power not to do that .. and that is to take a life. We can all choose.

As i wrote in the first-two posts; One has to be careful not to be naive and fooled. There is such a thing as balance. That's where intelligent leadership comes into play.

If you are rich, you don't grind to become richer, but for fun and experimentation. You also grind to make others get the same good experiences, to strengthen the good community. If everyone tries to rip everybody else off, we get a very toxic and poisonous community where nobody dares to make a trade because they know someone is making a fortune on their naivity. Balance is everything.

I grind to find things I never have found before. That's why I have fg. Because of the grind...
I offer free grushes all the time and I give shit away all the time. This ladder alone I've given 19/17ptorchb18/15 storch about 25 random ones ctas hotos shakos and pretty much everything else away for free. 2 eth titans runes. Many runes. I do more than 90% of people on here.

When I finally find something worth 20k I think I've earned what I found. But still the question remains for other people to answer. What is a good fee to pay someone to find a buyer

flat rate for an item wouldnt make the most sense.

Oh you were searching for 30k for this item? i only sold it for 10k. send me my 1,000.

10,15,20% would be fair IMO more incentive to have them drive up the price and find the best buyer.

I work in a commissioned sales environment. If a customer buys a dedicated fiber circuit from me for $2,000, i get less commission than when i sell it for $4,000. The seller in this case is whoever you are hiring for the job. give them the most incentive possible to find a high sale price.

This makes no sense. That is like saying a millionaire should pay 100k for a new Chevy and a poorer person pays 30k for the same car.
How much fg a person has or doesn't have should have no bearing on anything.

I'd say 200-300fg on a 20k item trade, usually depends on how hard they worked to help you sell the item and how much in-debt to them you are. If I bust ass to get you to sell your item AND I hustle the guy up from 15k to 20k, I essentially got you an extra 5k, now I'm not entitled to that full 5k, but a little bit of a tip in the jar is warranted for how hard I worked to get you paid.

^ All theoretical based on your described situation.

Yeah, my mistake using logic and reasoning with someone using only emotions and feelings...I'm guessing raised by a single mother may be the issue...
