The number of people who care about PvP and is simultaneously hurt about the changes made to the point where they complain about it on some forum like it's gonna do anything is a lot smaller than you think.

i think the original idea was to use NL to create your pvp builds with what ever you found from ladder
NL = Pvp
Ladder =Pvm
the problem is Pvm on ladder is only worth it at the beginning, after a few weeks anything good you find is worth fuck all
and Pvp just doesn't work its broken as shit
i feel this whole game is a waste of time

also pvp'er stick around forever they make up this jsp community all these other rands just come and go with each ladder season

Yes there is overall less people who pvp than pvm.

But pvm needs pvp people. Pvp is the market you pvm spawns sell to. Without us, there is no demand, thus prices crash.


No pvp affects everyone.

Pvp is the end game of d2. Remove the end game of any online game, and it fails.

The changes to pvp literally don’t affect pvm play style. Yet you pvm spawns keep crying about stuff that doesn’t affect you.

You did all this to yourself.

The result, you have no one to sell your items to.

So the very people you frown on is the lifeline that let's you purchase high end gear in the first place. Cause then without PvM, you the game would have no audience invested in the game, nor would you have a market to find or buy any end game gear for your PvP char. How ironic.

And the very reason why PvM in Ladder is worthless is because literally week 1 bots ruined it. If the logic of PvM only in ladder was the case, then the demand on items because of PvP is irrelevant since everyone is just buying on NL/selling on ladder.

Likewise the PvP people needs PvM to sustain the enthusiasm, increase the availability, and provide the inflow of cash. You guys act superior over something you rely on. Whether that's your ego showing or realizing how much you wasted after 15 years invested in a game that people are playing cause lul nostalgia, who knows.

The large majority of people affected by bots in terms of lost potential of income aren't gonna cry about it for a decade; they'll wait 4 months and try it again.

You really should move on from this game.
