the problem is you guys are gullible
blizzard said there wouldn't be bots on D2r
you believed them

but who cares really the game is fucked from so many angles

fuckin right only pvp'ers pay big for good items
why the hell would anyone buy anything on D2R?
i have a tals sorc and its literally all i need

i have a theory that they purposefully broke pvp to ruin the market and stop jsp making money from their game
at the expense of the game

You also have to take into account, that hardware is much more powerfull these days. On a Ryzen 5950x with a RTX 3090 you can run eight instances simultaneously. Imagine you have serveral boxes doing this..

As long as there is no proper bot detection in the game mechanics itself I see no stopping of this. Like randomly occuring complex challenges that have to be solved successfully by the player, otherwise you'll be kicked out of the game.

I dont mind 1-2 botters, but when you see people with 10-20 bots, it kills the game quickly as it always has. I mean I would love to run 1 bot, because who really wants to farm meph 1000 times.

The problem is the lack of pvpers because blizzard fucked pvp.

Thus you have no market to sell to.

If there was a healthy demand side market, you would barely notice the price drop bots introduce.

no. pvp demand has very very marginal effect on ladder item prices on the first week of ladder. also compared to initial d2r you can dee multiple times high runes sold on jsp.

There is less demand.

More supply.

Ofc prices fall.

If there is more demand and more supply, there is an equaiblrium.

This is very easy to understand.

Without a pvp crowd, which will want to gear up quickly to start leveling, there is essentially no market to sell to.

All you have is pvmers wanting to farm items to sell to pvmers who want to farm items to sell to pvmers who want to farm items to sell to pvmers. So on and so forth.

Ofc prices crashed more quickly than the release, where pvpers still had hope for the game.

Botting has been around forever. How come game companies cant do anything about it? Is it hard to detect? or they just dont care?

Its about the excitement and feeling rewarded for finding the items like occy shako , that on non ladder it doesnt feel rewarding.

Its about starting from scratch and finding the first ber and feeling ultra rewarded and happy, but when you see the prices plummeted and its converging to non ladder ... well

that takes away the magic because its just like non ladder again

There is no excitement when players are not playing under the same terms, also knowing this is frustrating and also discouraging. The feeling of rewarding is non existant when in the end you can buy a shako for a ral rune because the supply will overcome the demand.
